I spent the afternoon photographing the same street I've walked a hundred times, but this time I saw it differently.
Spent the morning without speaking to anyone, just observing. The world becomes louder when you're quiet. Every sound stands out—the rustle of leaves, the footsteps on concrete, the distant hum of traffic. This silence has taught me more about listening than a thousand conversations ever could.
My camera broke today. It feels strange to say, but I'm grateful. For years, I've hidden behind technical perfection. Now, with limitations, I'm rediscovering what drew me to photography in the first place—the magic of capturing a feeling, not just an image.
What would I tell my ten-year-old self? That the fear you're feeling now will pass. That the people you're worried about impressing will become less important than those who choose to stay. That curiosity is your greatest asset. Most importantly, that it's okay to not have all the answers.
